1.      Definition
     Recount text is a text that telling the reader about one story action or activity. Its goal is to entertaining on informing of reader.
2.      Purpose
     Purpose of Recount Text:
     1) Narrate events or incidents.
     2) To retell past experience.
     3) To amuse or inform.
     4) To inform or to entertain the readers.
3.      Generic structure
     1) Orientation
      Do you realize that most of the text will start with orientation.
     2) Events
     A series of events, ordered in a chronological sequence.
     3) Re-orientation
     A personal comment about the event or what happened in the end.
4.      Language Component
     1) Using the simple past tense, past continuous tense, past perfect tense, and past perfect continuous tense.
     2) Using temporal sequence. Exam: On Saturday, On Monday, and On Sunday
     3) Focus on specific participant. Exam: I
     4) Using action verd. Exam: went and stayed.
     5) Using the conjunctions. Exam: hen, before, and after
5.     Types of Recount Text
     1) Personal Recount
     Personal recount text is a type of text that aims to tell about the author's personal experience.
     2) Factual Recount
     Factual recount text is a story to present reports related to events that occurred based on facts.
     3) Imaginative Recount
     Imaginative recount is a text that is usually used by someone as a story from an imaginative event that is experienced by someone.
     4) Historical Recount
     Historical recount is a form of recount text whose contents tell historical events.
     5) Literary recount
     This kind of recount writing is all about entertainment. They can be about fictional or real events and involve real or fictional characters.

      6.   Expression 
     1) Orientation: Sometimes I eat late. Until a week ago, I got very sick because of bad meal habit.
     2) Event: When I was in my off day, I played video game form afternoon to evening.....I realize that I am suffering chronic gastritis.
     3) Reorientation: Then, I take the medicine and promised to not skip meal time.
